Parking at the venue: There is a parking garage available for guests. It is located at 404 W Harrison St. The evening special (entering after 4pm, out by 7am) is $15.

The Celebration of Courage 2022 will be hosted on Thursday, June 9th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm (special VIP hour from 5:00-6:00 pm) at the beautifully renovated Old Post Office in downtown Chicago! This year's event will feature remarks from Kim Dadou Brown and Natalie Pattillo from the award-winning documentary, And So I Stayed. The event will also feature stories from the clients who've been impacted by Ascend Justice's life-changing work, our 2022 Champions of Justice, and our signature raffle.

The Celebration of Courage is Ascend Justice's annual spring fundraiser where we pay tribute to the over 1,000 survivors and families whose lives are touched by Ascend Justice every year and to the loyal supporters like you who make our work possible. Proceeds from the event go towards providing legal services that are 100% free to our clients.

Attire: Cocktail/business attire

Safety: All attendees of the Celebration of Courage 2022 must be fully vaccinated. Masks may be required per CDC and the City of Chicago guidelines.
